Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing the Cards portfolio to deliver profitable business P&L, revenue from non-funded and funded income lines, expense management, partnership management, balance sheet growth, campaign launches and fulfillments, and rewards program management.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Oversee and implement the Cards Portfolio Growth Strategy to meet business goals.
- Review and segment the portfolio periodically to identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Offer targeted products such as balance transfers, loans on cards, and easy payment plans to drive utilization, spends, and revenue per customer.
- Collaborate with channels including digital, tele-sales, contact centers, and marketing to drive inorganic bookings.
- Develop a management framework for line increases, decreases, over-limit tolerance, and temporary credit limit increases using data analytics.
- Regularly review and optimize authorization rates across card products to meet minimum standards set by schemes.
- Establish processes for product upgrades and downgrades based on customer spend and utilization patterns.
- Develop retention strategies to reduce attrition from profitable segments and introduce retention offers.
- Initiate and monitor campaign performance to enhance customer activation, win-back, and growth of customer base and ENR.
- Compare product pricing to ensure CBD's card offerings are competitive based on market analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including consumer protection and circulars from the Central Bank.
- Support periodic audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Collaborate with client engagement teams and other product managers to address customer complaints.
- Work closely with stakeholders such as Credit, Operations, and Risk to align credit strategies and risk management measures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of card-related complaints.
- Assist all card business channels with sales, training, process optimization, and promotions.
- Ensure all banking channels are updated with product information and are well-trained on changes.
- Support the Card Portfolio Head in delivering day-to-day business activities seamlessly.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or data sciences; equivalent qualifications are acceptable.
- Data analytics certifications and decision management experience are a plus.
- Good knowledge of online/digital marketing tools and best practices.
- Minimum of 6 years of banking experience with knowledge of cards products, portfolio, and P&L management.
- At least 4 years of experience managing customer engagement and fulfillment campaigns, including partnership-based promotions and installment programs.
