Job summary

InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a proactive F&B Attendant for Pool Bar & Beach Bar. You will support daily bar operations, prepare and serve beverages, engage guests with recommendations, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in poolside areas.

This role requires outdoor work in hot weather, physical endurance, and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and holidays. Competitive benefits accompany a dynamic beachfront setting.

Qualifications

• F&B or bar service experience in a hotel, resort, beach club, pool bar or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of basic bar operations, glassware and bar set-up.
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, mocktails and other beverages.
• Confidence engaging with guests and recommending drinks and food.
• Able to work outdoors in hot and humid weather while maintaining energy and service standards.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and to bend/kneel as required.
• Good reading, writing and basic maths skills.
• Flexible to work different shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Compliance with local requirements for food handling and alcohol service.
• Great communication skills with a warm, welcoming personality and a passion for guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily bar operation, including opening/closing duties, bar setup and preparation for service.
• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including basic cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and juices.
• Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations and ensure orders are served accurately.
• Keep the bar fully stocked with beverages, glassware, garnishes, ice and supplies during the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic bar, service station and pool/beach areas.
• Check stock levels and inform supervisor of low supplies or equipment issues.
• Engage with guests, understand preferences and recommend drinks and menu items.
• Handle guest bills and payments accurately when required.
• Follow responsible alcohol service and hygiene/safety requirements at all times.
• Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen colleagues and F&B team to maintain smooth service during busy periods.
• Support poolside and beachside F&B service as needed.
