Job summary

A global consulting firm is seeking a PMO Lead for a Smart Metering initiative in the Middle East. The successful candidate will establish programme governance, reporting, and coordination with the Programme Manager. Responsibilities include developing integrated programme plans, managing risks, and ensuring quality documentation. Candidates should have experience in PMO roles for large-scale projects and strong analytical and organizational skills. Familiarity with MS Project and Power BI is essential. This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PMO or project control roles on complex IT/infrastructure programmes.
• Proven track record supporting large multi-stream projects within utilities or smart metering.
• Experience in the GCC region or energy sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Programme Manager and support programme control activities.
• Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan and milestones.
• Implement standard processes for risk, issue, and change management.
