Job summary

John Wood Group PLC seeks a Sr. Interface Engineer – Projects to lead the coordination of all technical interfaces among clients, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and operations teams in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role ensures seamless integration of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up activities across all project phases. You will establish and maintain an Interface Management System to identify, track and resolve interface issues, minimizing risks, delays and cost impacts

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating complex project interfaces among clients, EPC contractors, vendors, and operations.
• Strong communication and risk management to minimize delays and costs.
• Experience with interface management systems and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all project interfaces between Client, PMC, EPC Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Operations teams.
• Facilitate seamless integration of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities across project phases.
• Establish and maintain an Interface Management System to identify, track, and resolve interface issues in a timely manner.
• Minimize project risks, delays, and cost impacts arising from interface conflicts or communication gaps between stakeholders.
• Ensure clear definition of interface responsibilities, boundaries, deliverables, and ownership among project participants.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Sr. Interface Engineer – Projects with a proven track record in managing and coordinating all technical, engineering, construction, and operational interfaces between project stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client teams. The role ensures seamless integration of project activities, timely resolution of interface issues, and effective communication to support safe, efficient, and successful project execution for a high-profile client.
