Job summary

John Wood Group PLC in the UAE seeks an experienced PMC Senior Construction Engineer – E&I to oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards for a high-profile client.

You will ensure electrical and instrumentation installations meet project specifications and international codes (IEC, NEC, ISA), close NCRs promptly, and lead the on-site team to milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience as PMC Senior Construction Engineer – E&I on large on-site projects.
• Proficient in electrical & instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of IEC, NEC and ISA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all E&I construction activities are carried out safely with strict HSE adherence.
• Guarantee installations meet project specifications and international codes, closing NCRs promptly.
• Monitor progress of E&I works, identify bottlenecks and drive on-time milestone achievement.
• Coordinate on-site activities and lead the construction team to successful project delivery.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation construction activities are carried out safely, with strict adherence to HSE standards and zero incidents.
• Guarantee that installations meet project specifications, international codes (IEC, NEC, ISA), and client requirements, closing NCRs promptly.
