Wood is recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior Automation & Control Engineer for ADNOC Gas to join us and make an impact within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. The role will be based at the client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

You will provide technical leadership across FEED to start-up phases, monitor EPC contractor deliverables, and ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and HSE objectives in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

• The PMC Senior Automation & Control Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership, engineering assurance, and oversight of Automation, Instrumentation & Control Systems throughout FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of major Oil & Gas projects.
• The position will monitor and review the EPC Contractors engineering activities and deliverables, ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, standards, applicable international codes, approved design philosophies, quality requirements, schedule, and HSE objectives.

The Role

• The PMC Senior Automation & Control Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership, engineering assurance, and oversight of Automation, Instrumentation & Control Systems throughout FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of major Oil & Gas projects.
