Job summary

John Wood Group PLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead fabrication yard activities for ADNOC projects. You will oversee fabrication and construction work, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance across EPC contractors and fabrication subcontractors.

• Managing, coordinating, and overseeing all fabrication and construction activities undertaken by EPC contractors and fabrication subcontractors on behalf of the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for ADNOC projects.
• Ensuring fabrication and assembly works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, ADNOC standards, applicable international codes, contractual requirements, and approved project schedules.
• Providing overall PMC construction leadership across fabrication yard operations, including structural steel fabrication, piping spool fabrication, module assembly, mechanical equipment installation, welding, inspection coordination, surface preparation, coating, and preparation for load-out and transportation, as applicable to the project scope.
• Monitoring contractor performance, managing fabrication progress and construction interfaces, resolving execution constraints, ensuring HSE and quality compliance, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, planning, logistics, offshore installation, and commissioning teams to achieve project milestones and successful handover.
