Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent as well as prior experience in plumbing.
• They should have knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations related to plumbing systems.
• They should have good problem solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on plumbing systems including pipes, drains, water heaters, valves and fixtures.
• Inspect existing plumbing systems to identify potential problems or areas of improvement.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to identify the best way to repair or install a system.
• Work with tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches and soldering torches to complete tasks.
