Job summary

Confidential Company in Sharjah, UAE seeks a Plumbing Engineer with 3-5 years of site experience in construction to oversee plumbing works across project sites. You will ensure installations follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Lead coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and MEP teams; review drawings and submittals; manage inspections, testing, and commissioning of water supply, drainage and sanitary systems. UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in plumbing/MEP within construction/contracting.
• Strong site-based supervision experience in plumbing installations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all plumbing works at the project site, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review plumbing and sanitary drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other disciplines for smooth execution.
• Ensure proper installation of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and related plumbing systems.
• Monitor site progress and ensure plumbing activities align with project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and installation quality.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities for inspection and approval.
• Prepare and follow up on RFIs, inspection requests, and material approvals.
• Ensure materials meet approved specifications and submittals.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of plumbing systems and inspections.

• Identify site issues and coordinate technical solutions with project team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in plumbing/MEP works within the construction or contracting industry.
• Strong site-based experience in plumbing installation and supervision.
• Good knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems, including water supply and drainage systems.
• Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and project/site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP, plumbing, and sanitary drawings.
• Experience with inspections, testing, commissioning, and resolving site technical issues.
• Good knowledge of construction practices, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation

AED 8,000-10,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
