The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting water supply, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, irrigation, pump, and valve systems. This role requires a swift response to active leaks and blockages, completing thorough testing and repairs, and ensuring all works strictly comply with applicable plumbing and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leak & Blockage Repair: Identify and repair active water leaks and clear blockages across drainage and sanitary systems.
- System Installation: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, sanitary fittings, and pipe layouts.
- Water & Drainage Management: Maintain the overall integrity of water supply and drainage systems.
- Pump & Valve Servicing: Service and monitor water pumps and booster systems, replacing faulty valves as required.
- System Testing: Conduct pressure tests on pipeline networks to verify system safety and prevent damage.
- Irrigation Maintenance: Repair and maintain irrigation lines to support building landscape operations.
- Emergency Support: Provide prompt assistance and technical troubleshooting during plumbing emergencies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and work-order updates.
Job Requirements
- Education: ITI Certificate or a recognized trade certificate in Plumbing.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant, hands-on plumbing experience.
