Tiger Data in Dubai is seeking a software engineer to contribute to TimescaleDB Enterprise on-prem deployment and management platform. You will develop core capabilities using Go and TypeScript, and participate in testing and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience (including internships or substantial projects).
• Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript.
• Comfort with Linux fundamentals including shell, SSH, services, containers, and networking.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools.
• Experience working in collaborative technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, an on-prem deployment and management platform.
• Develop core product capabilities including management consoles (React + TypeScript), backend APIs (Go), and deployment workflows (Ansible).
• Write tests at all levels, from unit tests to automated end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Support, and Sales Engineering.
• Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development and debugging workflows.
