Your Role at Cabot

Develops short-term production schedules and manages site logistics and warehousing activities for a specific product line at the plant. Collaborates with hauler and business center functional groups to ensure smooth site planning and logistics operations.

How You Will Make an Impact

1. Creates production plans within a 3-month horizon, ensuring the plant has adequate capacity to meet demand. Monitors production backlog and updates JD Edwards accordingly.
2. Performs short-term demand planning analysis and recommends solutions for capacity issues.
3. Develops inventory stocking levels and planning for in-plant bulk inventory. Monitors material supply and alerts to potential shortages.
4. Monitors SKUs and contributes to long-range planning processes.
5. Maintains logistics systems involving inventory management at the plant, field warehouse, and consignment levels.
6. Works closely with business service center teams and external service providers like haulers to ensure smooth execution of production and logistics activities.
7. Collaborates with the WPS team to execute logistics and warehouse operations according to SOPs and local guidelines.
8. Ensures compliance with site safety standards, ISO, SOX, and 5S expectations. Maintains necessary documentation as per retention policies.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

• Basic knowledge of inventory management, production planning, logistics, and related principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
