Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a skilled Planning Engineer to develop and maintain offshore project schedules in Abu Dhabi. You will monitor performance, identify deviations, and coordinate with project teams to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires a engineering degree and 4–5 years in offshore or oil & gas scheduling, with PMP/PMI-SP being a plus. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • 4–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in Offshore or Oil & Gas.
  • PMP or PMI-SP certification is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with scheduling software.
  • Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect performance.
  • Identify deviations from baseline and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and stakeholders for data.
  • Facilitate communication to align timelines and milestones.

Responsibilities
  • - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate scheduling software.
  • - Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual project performance.
  • - Identify and report deviations from the baseline schedule and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
  • -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • - 4–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer supporting Offshore or Oil & Gas projects is mandatory.
  • - Professional certification such as PMP or PMI-SP is an added advantage.
  • - Advanced knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project .
  • - Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling best practices.
  • - Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software.
  • - Ability to analyze complex project schedules and identify potential delays and risks.
  • - Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
