PipingConstruction Supervisor - ADNOC Project

JobSummary
Responsiblefor supervising piping construction personnel and subcontractors to ensurefabrication, installation, testing, and handover activities are completedsafely and in accordance with ADNOC requirements, approved drawings,international standards, project schedules, quality requirements, and budget.
KeyResponsibilities
- Supervise pipingforemen, welders, pipefitters, riggers, helpers, subcontractors, andvendor personnel.
- Coordinate pipingfabrication, spool erection, valve and support installation, equipmentconnections, tie-ins, testing, and reinstatement.
- Review pipingisometrics, P&IDs, layouts, material specifications, support drawings,and construction work packages.
- Plan daily activitiesand ensure the availability of manpower, materials, tools, equipment,permits, access, scaffolding, and lifting resources.
- Monitor constructionprogress, productivity, manpower utilization, and compliance with theproject schedule.
- Verify pipe routing,slope, elevation, orientation, flange alignment, valve direction, supportlocations, and internal cleanliness.
- Coordinate welding,NDT, PWHT, RFIs, inspections, and repair activities with the QA/QC team.
- Support hydrotesting,pneumatic testing, flushing, leak testing, drying, reinstatement, andtest-package closeout.
- Ensure pipingmaterials are correctly identified, stored, preserved, segregated, issued,and used according to the applicable material class.
- Coordinate withengineering, planning, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and other constructiondisciplines to resolve site issues.
- Ensure subcontractorcompliance with safety, quality, productivity, schedule, cost, and projectprocedures.
- Participate in HSEmeetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily site inspections.
- Ensure compliance withADNOC HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, LOTO, SIMOPS, andapproved lifting plans.
- Prepare daily andweekly progress reports, manpower forecasts, look-ahead schedules, andrecovery plans.
- Support punch-listclearance, mechanical completion, system handover, and finaldocumentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years ofpiping construction experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, orEPC projects.
- At least five years ofdirect field-construction experience.
- Experience with amajor international EPC or E&C contractor.
- Strong knowledge ofpiping fabrication, erection, welding, supports, flange management,pressure testing, and reinstatement.
- Ability to interpretisometric drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, specifications, and workpackages.
- Working knowledge ofASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, welding, NDT, and project HSE requirements.
- Strong leadership,workforce-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skillsand proficiency in English.
- Previous ADNOC projectexperience or ADNOC approval is strongly preferred.
- Experience withbrownfield works, shutdowns, tie-ins, and SIMOPS would be advantageous.
