Job summary

A multinational energy firm is seeking a Piping Engineer in Dubai, UAE. Job description

Key Qualifications for this Position include:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of design experience for Oil & Gas and Refinery EPCC Projects.
• Experience in large-scale Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Projects and working with major IOC.
• Experience working for Modular Plants; offshore experience would be a plus.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Proficient in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Plant 3D, Cadworx, PDMS, E3D (will be a plus).
• Good knowledge of API, ASME, NACE, ANSI codes related to piping.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering piping engineering outputs, including piping calculations, pipe routing (inside/outside modules), pipe support and pipe rack layouts, general arrangement drawings, isometrics, and clash analysis.
• Reviewing pipe fittings specifications and datasheets, preparing fabrication drawings and plot plans, and preparing specifications.
• Ensuring engineering deliverables meet project specifications.
• Approving BOMs for piping materials and fittings.
• Preparing material requisitions and coordinating with procurement for quotations, technical acceptance, purchase orders, and timely delivery.
• Coordinating with engineering disciplines to facilitate document sharing.
• Providing progress feedback to the Lead Piping Engineer.
