About the job PIPELINE DESIGNER
The Pipeline Designer will be responsible for preparing, developing, and reviewing pipeline design deliverables for onshore oil and gas projects during the Engineering Phase, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pipeline design principles, relevant international standards, and ADNOC project experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare pipeline routing, alignment sheets, and layout drawings in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
- Prepare and review pipeline drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs) for FEED and Detailed Design deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation) to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
- Support in the preparation and checking of as-built drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and constructability assessments to ensure practical and efficient design solutions.
- Ensure all design work complies with project requirements, ADNOC codes, and international standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to pipeline layouts and design integration.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of deliverables in line with project schedules.
Key Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Pipeline Designer in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong experience in the Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
- ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other pipeline design/drafting tools.
- Good knowledge of pipeline design standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Must be immediately available to join.
