Job Summary: We are looking for an efficient and reliable Phlebotomist to join our organization in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing. They should be able to quickly and accurately collect samples with minimal discomfort to the patient. The position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to explain the procedure and answer patient questions. Our goal is to ensure that each patient has a positive experience when visiting our facility.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe, effective manner. This will involve correctly identifying the patient, using appropriate techniques to draw blood, labeling specimens correctly and recording relevant information on the patient’s chart.
• The Phlebotomist must also observe infection control protocols at all times, maintain sterilized equipment and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during the procedure.
• Additionally, they must interact with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, and lab technicians to ensure that all necessary processes are completed in an efficient manner.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess previous experience in a medical setting.
