Job summary

PPOAR in Dibba-El-Fujairah seeks a Pharmacist to provide healthcare services, dispense medications accurately, and counsel patients in every step of their treatment. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with laws and professional standards, maintain inventories, and support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a busy community setting in the UAE.

Salary is 1,100 AED per month, with opportunities for professional growth in a patient-focused team.

Qualifications

A valid Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university.
Excellent knowledge of drugs, their composition and uses.
Strong computer skills and knowledge in medication management systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.

Responsibilities

Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to the pharmacy's policies.
Assist customers with inquiries about drugs, interactions, side effects, dosage and storage.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.
Check prescriptions for accuracy prior to dispensing.
Maintain stock levels by ordering medications as needed.
Compound medications according to doctors’ orders.
Review patient profiles to identify possible drug interactions or allergies.
Provide patient counseling on proper use of prescribed medications.
Update patient records with new information from doctors or inquiries.
