Job summary

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will provide medications and other healthcare products to patients, and offer consultations on their use.

You will receive and verify prescriptions from medical professionals, prepare medications, and provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage. You must also keep accurate records of dispensed medications and patient progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Examine prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Dispense drugs to patients.
• Keep accurate records of all medications dispensed.
• Consult with doctors regarding drug doses and interactions.
• Answer questions about medications from customers.
• Provide advice on the proper use of medication.
• Ensure medications are stored safely and securely.
• Prepare intravenous solutions or compounding creams per instructions.
• Check for expired or recalled medications and dispose of them accordingly.
• Prepare insurance forms when requested by customers.
