Responsibilities

• Dispensing medications according to prescriptions
• Ensuring that all prescriptions are properly filled
• Checking for drug interactions, allergies, or other issues that may arise with the medication prescribed
• Advising patients on usage, side effects, storage of drugs, etc.
• Updating patient profiles with information about medications given
• Monitoring drug therapies for safety and efficiency
• Maintaining records of all drugs dispensed
