Pharmacist - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services and advice to customers in accordance with the recognized standards of practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications, advising on their use, side effects, interactions and suitability
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Advising on over-the-counter medicines and health products
• Keeping up-to-date with new products and their uses
• Preparing extemporaneous preparations as required
• Advising other healthcare professionals, such as GPs and nurses, on the selection, dosage, interactions and side effects of medications.
• Managing stock levels and ordering new stock when necessary
• Ensuring that all legal requirements are met with regard to the storage of medicines.
• Ensuring that controlled drugs are stored securely.

Requirements:

• A valid Pharmacy license in Abu Dhabi or other emirate of the UAE is essential.
• At least 3 years' experience working as a pharmacist is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite programs is required.
• Salary: AED 1200 per month (negotiable).
