We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services in a timely fashion, including dispensing medications, counseling patients on drug therapies, and recommending the most effective treatments to healthcare providers. The Pharmacist will also ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while providing excellent customer service.
The primary duties of the Pharmacist include accurately filling prescriptions and ensuring patient safety by verifying instructions for accuracy and completeness. The Pharmacist will provide advice to patients on the use of medications, identify drug interactions or adverse effects, dispense medications accurately according to prescription instructions, process insurance claims for reimbursement of medications, maintain patient profiles with information such as allergies and medication history. Additionally, the Pharmacist will provide consultation services to healthcare providers regarding drug selection and dosage as well as monitor drug therapy outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited college or university with at least 5 years' experience working as a pharmacist in a retail setting or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should also possess exceptional interpersonal skills along with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in order to meet customer needs. A valid license issued by the state board of pharmacy is required for this position along with knowledge of computer systems used by pharmacies such as Meditech and Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
