Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing advice on prescription medicines, OTC products, vitamins, minerals, herbal products and other health care items to customers.
• Ensuring medications are stored correctly and safely; monitoring expiry dates.
• Maintaining records; filling prescriptions.
• Providing information about products; answering customer questions.
• Processing payments; keeping up with new developments in the pharmacy field.
• Advising customers on how best to use medications; managing inventory levels.
• Advising physicians about drug interactions, therapeutic indications and dosage forms; providing input into formulary decisions.
• Participating in clinical services such as immunizations or smoking cessation programs when available.

We are looking for a highly skilled pharmacist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain and help serve our customers' needs with the highest level of service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to customers on their pharmaceutical needs, as well as maintaining the pharmacy store in compliance with all relevant regulations.

The successful candidate must have a strong background in pharmacology and a good understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must also be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. We are willing to consider applicants who are immigrants to the UAE or other countries.

• Familiar with UAE pharmacy legal requirements & guidelines.
• Valid UAE license preferred but not required; can be obtained after hiring if needed.
• Knowledge of computer systems; experience using EMR systems preferable but not necessary.
