Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, invites applications from qualified pharmacists to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services to patients and the public, in line with patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will dispense medications with proper labeling and usage instructions, maintain stock levels in Pharmacy and Wards, and ensure accurate patient billing.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm degree from an accredited education institution.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hospital or clinic pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of JCIA standards for pharmacies.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver a comprehensive, professional and cost effective pharmaceutical service to patients and the public in line with patient safety standards and regulatory requirements

Medication stock levels and storage practices are maintained in Pharmacy and Wards according to company standards and best practice

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A B.Pharm degree from an accredited education institution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' relevant experience in a hospital or clinic pharmacy

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Implementation of JCIA stardards for Pharmacies
• Patient experience principles and related best practice
• Stock control principles and management
• UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements
