Responsibilities
- Provide advice on the appropriate medications for customers’ ailments
- Assist customers in understanding how to use their medications properly
- Check prescriptions and ensure accuracy before dispensing medications
- Record all transactions correctly in the system and manage all inventory levels accurately
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to medication storage, labeling and sale
- Monitor drug shelf life expiration dates
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacist or related role
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical terminology, laws, regulations and standards related to pharmacy practice
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work efficiently with little supervision
