Job summary

Appsierra Group in Dubai is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to dispense medications, provide professional advice, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a busy pharmacy.

The role requires a UAE pharmacy license, a Bachelor's in Pharmacy, strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; English required, Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Valid UAE pharmacy license/eligibility as applicable.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage, and pharmaceutical practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused and professional attitude.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions and ensure appropriate dosage and usage.
• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication use, side effects, and precautions.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of medicines.
• Check medication expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals when clarification is required.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patients' queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
