Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in Dubai. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry and proven experience with SAP systems. Strong leadership and proficiency in Arabic are preferred. This role focuses on production management, quality compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and other relevant SAP modules.
• Extensive experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmaceutical production ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Production Planning (PP) and other relevant modules.
• Ensure strict adherence to pharmaceutical industry standards Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Manage, mentor and develop the production team fostering a collaborative environment.
• Oversee the management of production resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production processes.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP, and regulatory standards

Proficiency in SAP PP and related modules with hands-on experience in SAP implementation

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage complex production operations

Education

Pharmacist graduate with any advanced degree or relevant professional certification
