Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience and a solid understanding of petroleum engineering fundamentals.

You will identify and assess oil and gas fields, plan production improvements, and prepare technical reports for management while ensuring cost efficiency and environmental considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• At least one year of experience in petroleum engineering.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and pressure tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and assessing potential oil and gas fields using specialized software and tools.
• Developing plans to maximize production from existing wells.
• Optimizing production by adjusting well conditions and reservoir pressure and overseeing drilling operations.
• Preparing technical reports and presentations to explain project findings to management teams.
• Analyzing samples to identify reservoir properties such as porosity, permeability, and other characteristics that could affect production.
• Evaluating well data to determine optimal completion techniques and troubleshoot potential issues with existing wells.
• Estimating costs associated with drilling operations and design solutions that maximize profitability while minimizing environmental impact.
