Job summary

SearchPlus HR seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist in the UAE to join a leading healthcare organization.

The role involves comprehensive rehabilitation assessment, development of individualized plans, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. UAE licensing eligibility is required; Western qualifications are highly preferred, with Arabic language skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with a recognised specialist qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Rehabilitation Medicine.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Rehabilitation is highly preferred.
• Proven Consultant-level experience in pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation management for pediatric patients.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation plans based on clinical and functional needs.
• Manage children with developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation needs.
• Assess functional limitations, mobility, motor development, communication, and activities of daily living.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and doctors.
• Monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation plans based on outcomes.
• Provide counseling and education to parents and caregivers regarding treatment plans and goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and professional development activities.
