Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonology to provide comprehensive respiratory care for children. The role is full-time and on-site in Dubai, UAE, with responsibilities spanning outpatient clinics, inpatient supervision, and emergency management, while actively participating in teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will contribute to clinical pathways, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge, and mentor residents in a diverse international setting.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with pediatric pulmonology training and experience.
• Specialized training in pediatric pulmonology and management of complex respiratory disorders.
• Ability to collaborate with Cardiology and other specialists for coordinated care.
• Experience in emergency medicine or acute pediatric care settings.
• Experience in teaching and training medical staff.
• Eligibility for UAE licensure; adheres to high clinical and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication and cultural sensitivity in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient clinics and supervise inpatient pediatric care.
• Perform and interpret pediatric pulmonary investigations.
• Respond to pediatric respiratory emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Contribute to clinical pathways and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in teaching and training activities for medical staff.
