Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. in Al Ain seeks a Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with significant pediatric rehabilitation experience. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and manage infants through adolescents with congenital and acquired conditions.

Requirements include MBBS or equivalent, PM&R residency, board certification, and at least 5 years post-board experience. Arabic/English proficiency and DOH licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completed residency and specialist training in PM&R.
• Board Certification or equivalent PM&R qualification.
• Minimum 5 years post-board experience as a Consultant in PM&R.
• Experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage children with physical, developmental, neurological and functional impairments.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, function and independence.
• Prescribe and oversee rehabilitation therapies, devices, orthotics and mobility aids.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and pediatric specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per DOH, SEHA and international standards.
