Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is assisting a leading hospital in Dubai in recruiting a Consultant Pediatric ENT. The role involves diagnosing and managing pediatric ENT conditions, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS or equivalent with ENT and Pediatric ENT fellowship, Western training, and at least 5 years of experience, plus eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH license.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree MBBS or equivalent from a recognised institution.
  • Specialty training in Otolaryngology with subspecialty training or fellowship in Pediatric ENT.
  • Western-trained education and/or clinical experience is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT in a reputable tertiary care hospital.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a valid DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric ENT medical and surgical management.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric ENT conditions.
  • Perform pediatric ENT surgeries including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and ventilation tube insertion.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and audiological assessments.
  • Develop individualized medical and surgical treatment plans.
  • Provide expert consultation to pediatricians, neonatologists, and other specialists.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teaching, and clinical research.
  • Stay current with advances in pediatric otolaryngology through CME.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing ear, nose, and throat disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The consultant will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, family-centered healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  • Treat disorders including recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, tonsillitis, adenoid disease, sinus disorders, airway abnormalities, sleep-disordered breathing, speech and swallowing disorders, and congenital ENT conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, including endoscopy, audiological assessments, and imaging when appropriate.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using both medical and surgical approaches.
  • Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ventilation tube insertion, airway surgery, and other specialized interventions.
  • Provide expert consultation to pediatricians, neonatologists, and other specialists on complex ENT cases.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and clinical research.
  • Stay current with advances in pediatric otolaryngology through continuing medical education and professional development.
