Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 2+ years experience as a Merchandiser or in retail.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, identifying slow-moving products and restocking or discontinuing as needed.
• Create visually appealing displays to attract customers and promote sales.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommendations for product assortment.
• Conduct market research to identify current trends and pricing.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing.
• Ensure all products are priced, labeled, and stocked correctly on shelves.
• Monitor sales performance and suggest promotions or markdowns as needed.
• Maintain relationships with existing vendors and seek new suppliers.
