Job summary

JobCenter in Sharjah is seeking a friendly Cashier for a part-time position at our store. You will handle customer transactions, greet customers, scan and bag items, and maintain a tidy checkout area.

The role welcomes Indian nationals with a UAE residency visa; English fluency is required, Arabic a plus. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is important; prior cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Indan national with valid UAE residency visa (own visa)
• Fluent in English (Arabic knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous cashier experience preferred but not required (freshers)
• Must be able to work without company accommodation provided

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with purchases
• Scan and bag items accurately at checkout
• Accept cash, card, and other payments
• Process exchanges or returns per store policies
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Monitor inventory and inform management when stock is low
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns
