Job summary

Ascendry Aviation Training Services LLC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Basic 147 Instructor to lead CAR/Part-147 training in classrooms and workshops in the United Arab Emirates.

The role requires hands-on expertise with aircraft systems and powerplants, plus 3+ years as a technical instructor in an aviation environment. You will develop lesson plans, deliver practical demonstrations, and mentor learners to uphold high safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in aircraft maintenance and systems.
• Experience with civilian/commercial aircraft.
• Knowledge of powerplant systems and propulsion technologies.
• Solid understanding of aircraft structures, aerodynamics and operating principles.
• EASA Part-66 or equivalent license highly beneficial.
• 3+ years as a technical instructor or trainer in an aviation context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CAR/Part-147 basic training in classroom and workshop settings.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop training materials.
• Deliver lectures and practical demonstrations; supervise student tasks.
• Assess learner performance through exams and assignments.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support curriculum improvements and collaborate with training staff.
