Dubai Careers - A Smart Dubai Initiative seeks qualified paramedics to deliver high-quality patient care within DCAS guidelines. You will decide on treatment/referral, mentor new staff, and maintain DCAS skill competency, while driving ambulances and completing accurate electronic reports.

The role requires a paramedic or nursing degree with bridging, BLS/ACLS/PALS plus trauma certification, and UAE EVO license. UAE Nationality is required for this posting; full-time, on-site work in Dubai.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in EMS or nursing with bridging program or equivalent.
BLS, ACLS & PALS certificates plus a trauma certificate (PHTLS or ITLS).
Valid UAE Driver’s license and EVO license.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality patient care according to DCAS guidelines.
Take decisions for treating and referring patients.
Mentor staff and maintain competency in DCAS skills and meds.
Lead patient management in absence of higher skilled staff.
Drive ambulance vehicles per DCAS policy and perform pre-shift checks.
Complete accurate electronic patient care reports.

Job Description

Deliver quality patient care in accordance with DCAS Clinical Practice Guidelines as per scope of practice paramedic level.

Take the decisions for treating and referring the patient.

Performs all duties in a safe, confidential, and professional manner, always considering the well-being of the patient. Follow detailed and define rules/ instructions to make simple decisions related to patients care.

Mentors, trains, and encourages fellow new staff, EMT level and new paramedic as needed.

Maintain competency in all skills and medications identified in the DCAS Paramedic Skills and medication matrix.

Take lead of patient management in absence of higher skilled staff.

Drive ambulance vehicles in accordance with DCAS Policy and Procedures including pre-shift vehicle check.

Exchange ideas and information effectively.

Perform Standby Duties as assigned (e.g., Festivals, sports, and cultural events).
