Requirements

• The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Painter in a professional setting, with knowledge of both interior and exterior painting techniques.
• The individual should be able to read blueprints or drawings accurately in order to carry out their duties.
• A valid driver’s license is also required.

Duties

• The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning them thoroughly, filling holes or cracks with appropriate material and removing any old paint or wallpaper that may be present.
• The individual will then mix colors according to specific instructions and apply them using brushes, rollers or spray guns as required.
• The Painter must also inspect finished surfaces for defects such as cracks or runs in the paint before signing off on completion of the job.
