Job summary

Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre in Abu Dhabi seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will support patients through their care journey, perform nursing assessments, venipuncture, specimen collection, and admin duties in Cerner EMR, while guiding families on treatment plans and follow-up instructions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing, a current DOH license or eligibility, 1–3 years in outpatient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid medical license or eligibility from Department of Health (DOH).
• 1-3 years experience in an Outpatient Setting.
• Proven leadership and team lead experience.
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate efficient patient flow to ensure a seamless outpatient experience and effective clinic operations.
• Perform nursing assessments and clinical procedures within scope of practice, including vital signs monitoring, venipuncture, specimen collection, and medication administration.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Cerner) in a timely manner.
• Support physicians and allied health professionals during consultations, examinations, and outpatient procedures.
• Ensure compliance with M42 policies, infection prevention and control standards, patient safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and effective management of clinical supplies.
