Job description

  • Oversee the dining area and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring adherence to established operating policies.
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere, providing feedback, coaching, and maintaining high standards of behavior.
  • Maintain records of staff performance and operating costs, and manage scheduling and payroll.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally, seeking feedback to improve service.
  • Ensure proper food presentation, handling procedures, and quality of deliveries.
  • Order supplies and coordinate maintenance for equipment.
  • Manage total receipts, balance sales, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Respond flexibly to staffing changes and operational challenges.
  • Identify and resolve restaurant issues through reports and proactive measures.
  • Utilize POS and inventory software effectively for management.
  • Assist in planning menus for regular and special events.

Additionally, be flexible and available for various duties as needed, set an example for staff, and comply promptly with supervisor requests.

Requirements:

  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of restaurant service.
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
