Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures within licensed scope.
• Manage complex wisdom teeth extractions and implant placement.
• Develop treatment plans and provide pre/post-operative care.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon – Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Percentage-Based Compensation

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our dental center in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and surgical experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with the ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and provide comprehensive treatment for oral and maxillofacial surgical cases.
• Perform surgical procedures within the scope of the Specialist's license and clinical privileges.

Must have valid implant privileges and be experienced in dental implant placement.

• Manage complex and difficult wisdom teeth cases, including surgical extraction of impacted and deeply impacted third molars.
• Manage surgical extractions, impacted teeth, complex oral surgery, and other maxillofacial conditions.
• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and clinical quality.
• Participate in the development of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery service within the center.

Requirements:

• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi Specialist License
• Specialist qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery not oral surgery

Compensation:

• Percentage-based compensation only.
• No fixed monthly salary.
• Competitive percentage based on collected revenue and agreed terms.
