In this role, you will be responsible for implementing best practices in database management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our Oracle databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance database operations and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitor database performance metrics and perform tuning and optimization when necessary.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
  • Conduct database audits and implement security measures to safeguard data.
  • Collaborate with application teams to design and support database-related projects.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support for complex database issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies and innovations, recommending enhancements to current systems.
Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong focus on database performance tuning and management.
Technical Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Expertise in RMAN for backup and recovery solutions.
  • Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Oracle performance tuning tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Oracle cloud services and migration strategies is a plus.
