Job summary

The successful candidate will assess visual acuity, depth and color perception, and peripheral vision, diagnose and treat eye conditions with medications, and educate patients on hygiene, nutrition, and safety. Qualifications

• Determining need for glasses or contact lenses.
• Examining eyes and testing visual acuity, depth perception, colour vision, and peripheral vision.
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases with eye drops or medications.
• Educate patients on hygiene, nutrition, and safety to prevent eye diseases.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and determine spectacle or contact lens prescriptions.
• Educate patients about eye health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
• Stay updated with advances in optometry through continuing education.
