Job Description:

The Optometrist is responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to the public, including performing comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and treating vision problems and diseases. The Optometrist must be able to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals in order to provide the best possible service.

Additional duties include:

• Provide patient education on vision health, contact lenses, eyeglasses prescriptions and more
• Perform vision tests using specialized equipment such as phoropters
• Prescribe medications or other treatments as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice optometry in Dibba-El-Fujairah or eligible for licensure in Dibba-El-Fujairah
