Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction and tonometry.
• Diagnose ocular disease and assess visual function.
• Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses or contact lenses).
• Educate patients on contact lens use, appropriate eyewear, and lifestyle factors affecting vision.
• Monitor progress of vision therapy plans.
• Refer patients to other medical professionals when necessary.
