Job description

Job Purpose:

  • Operations Manager- Lebanon is a key leadership role within the organization. This role involves overseeing and optimizing the performance of outlets in the market, ensuring excellent guest experience, operational excellence, financial performance, and team leadership.
  • This role ensures that all operations comply with brand standards, safety, hygiene, cost controls, and customer service standards, while driving growth, profitability, and continuous improvement. Develop tailored execution plans to address the brand & store-level challenges in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across the restaurant(s) to ensure food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction meet or exceed standards.
  • Maintain brand standards in appearance, layout, equipment operation, and customer-facing practices.
  • Monitor and manage P&L (profit and loss), budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) — sales, margin, labour cost, waste, inventory turnover.
  • Optimize labour deployment; ensure efficient scheduling to balance cost and service.
  • Control inventory, reduce waste, manage purchasing, and ensure cost-effective supply chain operation.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and retain high-performing team members including restaurant managers, shift leads, and support staff.
  • Implement a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and create development plans.
  • Drive staff engagement, morale, and alignment with company values and goal
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the restaurant(s), including sales growth, market positioning, promotions, new product launches.
  • Execute marketing or local store promotion activities in coordination with marketing/brand teams.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure food safety standards are rigorously followed (ROCC, local regulatory requirements).
  • Perform audits (internal and external) and conduct corrective actions when needed.
  • Liaise with departments such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Training to align on initiatives, policies, and programs.
  • Communicate executive strategy, goals, and priorities to the operation team.
  • Produce regular reports on financial and operational performance.
  • Use data to identify trends, pinpoint issues, and recommend / implement improvements.
  • Monitor competitor activity or market changes impacting business performance.

Strategic (results):

  • Partner with the MENA Regional team on the development of long-term growth strategies aligned with the company vision.
  • Build long-term value, scale the business, drive innovation, and protect the brand. This role is critical in bridging corporate strategy with store-level performance

Academic & trades qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Hospitality Management, or related field).
  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus (Optional)
  • Strong financial acumen — ability to manage budgets, P&L, cost controls.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills; experience building, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Analytical mindset, with comfort using data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, health & safety regulation, and standards.
  • Flexibility to travel (if overseeing multiple sites), possibly weekends or holidays as required by restaurant hours.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 12+ years of substantial experience in restaurant operations, preferably within Lebanon market, with a demonstrated track record of success in managing multiple outlets or a large and complex restaurant—ideally within the QSR industry
