Job summary

A leading restaurant chain is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Peet’s Coffee locations in Sharjah, UAE. You will lead a team, drive sales and operational excellence, and ensure consistent guest experiences. Qualifications

  • Conduct regular café visits to assess product quality and guest experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers and Store Leaders.
  • Finalize and manage annual business and sales budgets.

Job Purpose

The Operations Manager will lead and inspire a team of passionate coffee professionals to deliver the exceptional Peet’s Coffee experience across all stores under your supervision. This role drives operational excellence, elevates guest experience, and builds high-performing teams that embody Peet’s values of craftsmanship, care, and community. The Operations Manager will focus on growing sales, profitability, and brand love while ensuring every cup and every interaction reflects Peet’s uncompromising quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all assigned Peet’s Coffee locations, ensuring consistent delivery of quality, service, and speed.
  • Drive achievement of sales, EBITDA, and performance targets through strong business insight and on-ground leadership.
  • Review financial, operational, and brand audit outcomes; develop action plans that ensure continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Quality and Training teams to maintain food safety, health, and operational standards in every store.
  • Conduct regular café visits to assess product quality, equipment maintenance, and the overall guest experience.
Growth & Brand Development
  • Identify and implement initiatives that enhance brand visibility, grow sales, and strengthen Peet’s presence in the market.
  • Monitor trade zones, competitor activities, and consumer trends to guide marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new store openings, layout design, and location recommendations.
  • Evaluate local marketing campaigns and initiatives (flyers, digital activations, delivery promotions) for impact and ROI.
People & Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers and Store Leaders to create a culture of ownership, accountability, and care.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential team members, building a strong bench for future growth and succession.
  • Recognize and celebrate achievements that reflect Peet’s spirit of teamwork and craftsmanship.
  • Provide continuous coaching and constructive feedback to help teams deliver operational excellence and authentic guest experiences.
Performance & Strategy
  • Conduct weekly business reviews with Area Managers to assess sales performance, operational consistency, and growth opportunities.
  • Finalize and manage annual business and sales budgets, aligning store performance with brand goals.
  • Analyze key business metrics to identify patterns, anticipate challenges, and act proactively.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to ensure operational initiatives support Peet’s long-term growth strategy.

  • Postgraduate studies in Business or FMCG Management are preferred.
