A leading consultancy in the UAE is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the supply chain and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, develop logistics strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead teams in a high-paced environment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and substantial experience in logistics management.
Manage day-to-day operations of supply chain and logistics functions.
Coordinate procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
Monitor KPIs to ensure timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and service quality.
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of shipments, inventory, and operations.
Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international shipping standards.
Negotiate with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Warehouse) to support order fulfillment.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead and supervise warehouse, logistics, and fleet management teams.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
Experience : 5–8 years in logistics or operations management.
GCC Experience : Preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of import / export regulations, customs clearance, warehouse management, and logistics systems (ERP / WMS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Inventory is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Willingness to relocate and work full-time in the UAE.
