Overview

The Operations Executive provides administrative and coordination support to the Operations Manager in managing maintenance activities across a portfolio of holiday homes.

The role focuses on tracking maintenance tasks, updating systems and records, coordinating with contractors, and working closely with the team to support operational workflows and timely issue resolution. The position plays a key role in ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, and guest-ready through accurate reporting, follow-ups, and process support.

What You\'ll Do
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations and facilities management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, a customer focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities under pressure and follow up proactively.
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in maintenance systems, mobile apps, spreadsheets, and task management tools.
  • Track job progress, completion confirmations, and invoices.
  • Escalate delays, cost issues, or quality concerns to the Operations Manager.
  • Work closely with the team to track maintenance related guest issues.
  • Ensure updates are shared promptly so guest queries can be managed effectively.
  • Provide day to day administrative support to the Operations Manager.
  • Assist in preparing basic reports on maintenance issues, costs and operational schedules.
  • Support property readiness processes though checklists.
  • Monitor open tasks and follow up with contractors to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate minor repairs and routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, appliances, furniture, fixtures, key handling, smart locks).
What You\'ll Need
  • Customer focused mindset with an understanding of guest experience.
  • Comfortable working with contractors and service teams.
  • 1-2 years\' experience in operations, hospitality, property management, or maintenance support (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic knowledge of holiday homes or short-term rentals is an advantage.
