Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a motivated Tutor to join its team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one tutoring across various subjects and help students achieve their learning goals.

The role involves assessing student needs, developing personalized plans, and collaborating with parents on progress. Bachelor’s degree in education is required, and experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students.
• Patient, organized, and motivated at all times.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the educational needs of the students and developing personalized learning programs.
• Facilitating individual and group learning sessions with students.
• Developing lesson plans based on the curriculum set by the school.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Assisting with homework assignments, projects, and other educational activities.
• Maintaining records of student attendance and academic performance.
• Collaborating closely with parents/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Researching new teaching methods to incorporate into lesson plans.
