Job description

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Manager with a strong techno-functional background and backend engineering expertise (preferably in Java) to lead and manage the onboarding of sub-platform teams into our digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business, development, and onboarding team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with onboarding standards, policies, and checkpoints.

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Duration: Long term

Notice period: 30 days maximum

Note: Arabic Speaker mandatory

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
  • ✔ Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding activities of sub-platform teams
  • ✔ Lead and manage the technical and functional onboarding process
  • ✔ Guide teams through onboarding standards, policies, checkpoints, and governance
  • ✔ Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and platform leads
  • ✔ Ensure system integration, access provisioning, knowledge transfer, and handover readiness
  • ✔ Track onboarding milestones, manage risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery
  • ✔ Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation sign-offs
  • ✔ Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering Leads
  • ✔ Document onboarding frameworks and drive continuous process improvement
🔹 Mandatory Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable):
  • 8+ years of backend development experience (Mandatory)
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Java
  • ✅ Experience working with Oracle Database
  • Techno-Functional background with strong system integration knowledge
  • ✅ Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
  • ✅ Strong Business Analysis skills (translating business needs into technical solutions)
  • ✅ Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
  • ✅ Experience working in government or large enterprise environments (Highly Preferred)
  • Arabic language fluency – Mandatory
  • ✅ Strong documentation and reporting skills
🔹 Preferred Certifications:
  • 🎯 PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification
  • 🎯 Agile / Scrum / Business Analysis Certification
  • 🎯 Java or relevant Technical Certification
